“We played with the right intensity for two sets, especially in service phase, deserving to go to 2-0 – said coach Angelo Lorenzetti after the end of the match - , while in the third set we struggled more playing unconvincingly. It was very important to obtain a victory without losing a single set, because all of this will allow us to be masters of our destiny in the last league match, but the fact remains that getting the entire stake in Monza is far from easy. To do this we will have to grow in the game in the middle, which tonight has struggled a lot to be decisive enough”.
Diatec Trentino will conclude its regular season of SuperLega Unipolsai 2016/17 on Sunday evening in Monza, playing versus Gi Group in the 25th and last day of the league; the very moment when it will know both its finishing position in ranking and the next opponent to play against in the quarter-finals of championship playoffs starting from Sunday 5th March (date of next home match).
